Qlik recently released their vision for 2019’s top business intelligence trends. Ten were featured, which revolving around on the idea that “we need postmodern analytics – analytics that decentralize data ownership and deliver high-caliber performance that easily scales…”
The ten trends predict the integration of multiple technologies to better serve a worldwide community increasingly saturated by data. Qlik anticipates a widespread decentralization of processes and tools, saying that overly-centralized services and platforms will become restrictive and should instead be replaced by users with one multi-point perspective. That said, data will still be king; analytics will likely drive processes instead of the reverse being true. Qlik also envisions a shift in innovation and a refocusing of priorities that pushes for performance-based selections.
