We worked with Premera Blue Cross, a nonprofit insurance provider for 2 million people in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska, to help improve the company’s sales channel analytics effort. We streamlined the intake process for data, designed analytic and visual reporting tools, and administered a prototype of a solution that would improve market insight.

Customer Challenge

Premera Blue Cross needed more resources to conduct data analysis and analytics design. To better compete in the marketplace, the company sought better insight and analysis of market information.

Approach and Solution:

To facilitate more rigorous strategic competitive analysis, we implemented data analysis and visual reporting tools. We:

  • Acquired sets of profiled data to improve quality and standardization.
  • Designed views to efficiently visualize the data with analytics tools.
  • Developed a proof of concept for an analytics reporting system, and executed on a proof of concept trial.
